Camps & Clinics
MAVS Volleyball offers year-round training for players in the community.
MAVS coaches are excited and eager to coach kids at all levels of volleyball. We make it easy for beginners to participate at a level they are comfortable with and challenge those ready for the next level. Whatever your athlete's goals, we want to help them achieve those goals and provide the right environment for them to do so!
SUMMER (June & July) - Summer Camps & South League
FALL (September & October) - Fall Academy, Club Prep Academy & Fall 4v4 League
WINTER (January & February) - Lil' MAVS & MAVS KIDS Winter League
SPRING (April & May) - Spring Fling, Future Stars & Spring 4v4 League
FALL FUTURE STARS
This clinic is designed for future volleyball stars ages 3-7. Each session will feature lots of volleyball skills various footwork, fun drills, strategy games, volleyball type games and more!
Future Stars is open to any player, boy or girl, who is interested in learning more about volleyball!
Fall Future Stars Dates:
- Thursday, October 15
- Monday, October 19
- Thursday October 29
All sessions are 6:00-6:45 PM, Held at MAVS KC : 16501 W 116th St, Lenexa KS
Cost: $30 per session
Future Stars is our youth program designed to progress and provide players with athletic fundamentals, teamwork, and volleyball vocabulary.
Players start in our "Lil' Stars" division, ages 3-5 years old. Then continue into the "Rising Stars" division, 6 years old. "All Stars" are the 7 year old participants. Once players have "graduated" from the Future Stars program, they can join several programs through MAVS including our Lil' MAVZ Winter League this January. These program focus mostly on fundamental volleyball skill development and learning game-play in a 6 person team setting.
2027 MAVS KIDS Winter League
Train and compete this winter with MAVS KIDS WINTER LEAGUE! MAVS Winter League provides training in all skills of the game and the opportunity to compete against other league teams. Learn from experienced MAVS Coaches and take your game to the next level.
Register for your current grade level.
Ages: 3rd-8th Grade, players not on club teams this season.
Program Structure:
- Week #1: Player evaluations
- Weeks #2-4: Team practices with MAVS Coach (team placements made between weeks 1 & 2)
- Weeks #5-8: League Play - teams compete in two matches each night.
- Training led by experienced MAVS coaches
- Skill development and competitive matches
- 1 training sessions a week for 8 weeks
Cost = $395, Includes 8 sessions and t-shirt!
Training designed and led by experienced MAVS Coaches.
Team or individual registration options:
- For team registration, teams should include 5-8 players:
- For teams with fewer than 8 players, additional players will be added
- Those registering individually may make 1 mutual friend request.
- Boys participating will be placed together. This is a co-ed program, and boys and girls may play together if needed.

2027 Lil' MAVS Winter League
Train and play this winter with Lil' MAVS WINTER LEAGUE! Lil' MAVS Winter League provides training in all skills of the game and the opportunity to play in scrimmages against other league teams. Learn from experienced MAVS Coaches and take your game to the next level.
Ages: 2nd Grade, players not on club teams this season.
Program Structure:
- Week #1: Player evaluations
- Week #2: Team practice with MAVS Coach (team placements made between weeks 1 & 2)
- Weeks #3-6: 30 minute practice, 30 minute matches
- Training led by experienced MAVS coaches
- Skill development and competitive matches
- 1 training sessions a week for 6 weeks
Cost = $175, Includes 6 sessions and t-shirt!

Fall Academy
Take your game to the next level! Fall Academy provides training in all skills of the game. Players practice with their coach and team, then players will showcase their skills on Saturdays in matches against other Fall Academy teams.
Register for your grade in 2026-2027 school year.
Ages: Kindergarten through 8th grade
Program Structure:
- 90 minute sessions
- Weekday trainings are skill development focused. Players participate in drills that develop their skills of passing, serving, setting, attacking and blocking. Small group sizes to ensure players receive personalized instruction.
- Saturday trainings are team based and scrimmage focused. Some instructional time to learn offensive and defensive systems, serve receive strategies and transitions. Match-based learning environment for players in Fall Academy.
Cost = $380
Includes 10 training sessions and tshirt!
Training designed and led by experienced MAVS Coaches.
Weekday trainings can be selected at either MAVS KC (Lenexa) or MAVS 816 (Leawood).
All Saturday trainings held at MAVS KC from 9:30-11:00 AM.
Club Prep Academy
Take your game to the next level! Fall Academy provides training in all skills of the game. Players practice with their coach and team, then players will showcase their skills on Saturdays in matches against other Fall Academy teams.
Register for your age group for 2027 club season.
Ages: U10-U14 club players - have to be on a club team for the 2026-2027 season - does not have to be a MAVS team.
Program Structure:
- Training led by experienced MAVS coaches
- Skill development
- Team building exercises
- Competitive matches
- 2 training sessions a week for 7 weeks
- Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 PM
- Saturdays 8:00-9:30 AM
Cost = $420
Includes 14 training sessions and t-shirt!
Training designed and led by experienced MAVS Coaches. Players on the same club team for 2026-2027 will be placed together.
