Richard Davidson

Richard is entering his 4th season with Mavs Volleyball but has been coaching volleyball for 10 years. Richard went to the University of Nebraska Lincoln, where he ran track and field. This is where Richard fell in love with the sport by going to watch the national ranked team. When Richard left to go get his masters at University of Toledo, he was able to get on to be an assistant coach with the women’s track and field team there he was able to learn how to cultivate and develop athletes. When Richard left University of Toledo and moved to Kansas City, he was able to get into coaching as an assistant and worked his way up and haven’t looked back ever since last year in 2023. Richard had his first season with coaching boys volleyball as well and had an excellent opportunity to see the other side of the spectrum, Richard continues to gain knowledge and grow to help him coach top performing athletes.
