Parker Zelei

Coach Parker, originally from the greater St. Louis area, has been playing competitive volleyball for over a decade. He got into coaching in college at the Missouri University of Science and Technology where he was a student-assistant coach for five seasons and joined juniors club coaching upon moving to the KC area. Parker currently coaches for the MAVS Boys program but can be found helping MAVS Girls teams throughout the season.

Originally a middle, Parker has honed his skills in other positions by playing in doubles sand and triples grass tournaments locally and around the nation. This added experience, combined with his technical mindset and competitive nature, helps him coach others into the athletes they yearn to be.

“I have been encouraged by the volleyball community to become the player I am today and to keep pushing myself further. I wouldn’t be the person I am today without this community and I want to help others experience the same support and encouragement that I have.”
