Anna Rodrigues

A native of Brazil, Anna is entering her 5th season coaching for MAVS. Anna has served as both a Head Coach and Assistant Coach for MAVS KC and MAVS 816. Most recently, Anna has assisted the MAVS KC 13-1 team, helping them win the Windy City National Qualifier in the USA division. In 2023, Anna coached the MAVS KC 16-1 and MAVS 816 15-1 team, finishing 1st and 2nd in the Heart of America Region, respectively. Her MAVS KC 16-1 team competed in the Open Division at Girls Junior National Championship, after finishing 3rd at Show Me National Qualifier. The MAVS 816 16-1 team competed in the Open Division at National Qualifiers and finished the season competing in the National Division at GJNC. Her first season as a MAVS Premier coach, Anna led the MAVS 816 14-1 team to two gold balls in the Northern Lights and Mid East Qualifiers. In addition to being a skilled technical coach, Anna brings a passion for the sport to her players, helping instill a life-long love of the game.

As a player, Anna played for both the Osasco and Sesi clubs in Brazil, before moving to the U.S. to play NCAA volleyball. In the U.S, she played for San Jacinto College, New Jersey Inst. of Technology, and University of Louisiana-Monroe.
