HOA Open Gym Policies:
Open Gyms are allowed so players, after their school season is over, can retain their volleyball skills for HOA tryouts. Here are approved additions to the current HOA policy for Open Gyms:

  • Clubs/facility managers will need to check the membership cards.
  • Coaches shall be facilitators only. There shall be no individual or group instruction. Coaches may set up drills or controlled scrimmage situations.
  • Players attending Open Gym shall be afforded similar playing time.
  • Players are not to be divided into skill levels, only into general age groups.
  • Parents should be allowed to watch, unless space prevents.
  • The maximum fee charged to players is $10.
  • The maximum length of an open gym is 2 hours.

Get ready for the upcoming club season and train with MAVS coaches! Skill-based training and live play. Guidance on how to get noticed at tryouts and open gyms. 

Program Information:

Friday Nights:

Age Groups: U9, U10, U11, U12, U15, U17 & U18

4:00-5:30 PM: U12, U17 &U18
6:00-7:30 PM: U9, U10, U11 & U15

Saturday Mornings:

Age Groups: U13, U14 & U16

8:00-9:30 AM: U13 & U16
10:00-11:30 AM: U14

Instruction designed & led by MAVS Volleyball Coaches. 

$30 per session, or all 3 sessions for $75 (code: STARIDALL3)
